The most popular times to visit Telluride are generally the summer or winter months,  mid-June to August and mid-November to early April. Getting there

Whether you opt to fly or drive, the journey to Telluride offers unmatched dreamy scenery. The most popular airport for Telluride is the Montrose Regional Airport, code MTJ, and it is roughly 65 miles. If you prefer to travel without a car, there are several transportation options providing transport from Telluride to Montrose. You can also rent a car from the airport if you prefer.
