Elysium is so thrilled to be a part of Brian and Tina’s two-part wedding extravaganza! Our first stop is Taipei, Taiwan! The city is just bursting with character, culture, and excitement. Taiwan is known for it’s amazing food and night markets. Both did not disappoint! And now for the wedding day- there were so many gorgeous pink, blue, and gray details, Tina’s Vera Wang gown was beautifully elegant (and that was only one of three gorgeous gowns), and her Jimmy Choo’s added that special touch. The day was filled with so many cool cultural traditions – and had us driving all over the city so we got to see a lot! My favorite tradition: When Tina left her parents house in the morning, her mother gave her two fans. One represented her good habits, and one the bad. When she drove away, she dropped one fan out the window. This symbolized that she was only taking her good habits with her and leaving the bad ones behind (however I don’t think Tina really has any bad habits LOL! She’s like the nicest most genuine person ever!)
I really loved how Angel of Events of Love and Splendor did a fabulous job with the event design as always and we look forward to working with her again at Tina and Brian’s California event in a few weeks. Tina also did a lot of DIY projects for the wedding… which to me is pretty crazy when they had like 1000 guests there!! Take a look into this special destination wedding with Tina and Brian’s Same Day Edit. We shot some of the footage at the Lin Family Gardens alongside LA based photographer Stephanie Williams (who was AWESOME to work with). Quite a cool setting!
We really enjoyed our time in Taipei (especially how NICE all the people are and how everyone lines up for the subway… yes you read right) and can’t wait to go back!!
It’s hard to capture a whole day into a few minutes… this has. Love it. Loved the wedding. Every.minute.of.it
