From the bride... "Freddy and I met by chance at a wedding neither one of us was technically supposed to be at. I was in the process of ending a 2-year relationship in LA. Freddy had moved just moved back to NY after 5 years of living in LA. My oldest friend, Remy's brother was getting married in LA and my parents flew out for the wedding. Remy texted me from the rehearsal dinner and said: "where are you?". I told her I didn't know I was invited and she proceeded to tell me to get my ass to the wedding the next day at 6 pm. That same night I got a text from my mom telling me "you have to come to the wedding tomorrow there is someone you have to meet". That night I also got an email introducing me to Freddy which I deleted because I wasn't interested in making new friends. Freddy politely replied to the email saying it would be nice to get together since we both worked in the music business. I showed up the next day at 5:30 but the wedding had started at 5 (thanks, Rem!). I was waiting outside the ceremony when this guy came running in... Freddy! We ended up sneaking into the ceremony together and the rest is kind of history! Freddy was supposed to stay in LA for a week but he ended up staying for a month. He said if we were still dating on Valentine's day that we should go back to NY together. We did, and he moved out of his apartment and back to LA!"
From the bride... "I was working at a bar in NYC after Sophomore year in college. Steven came in and began hitting on me, I politely gave him a fake number to end the interaction. Much to my embarrassment, he came back a week later and called me out on the fake number. I was flustered and panicked so I made up some story about losing my phone and gave him ANOTHER fake number. About 2 weeks later, he walked in with 6 of his friends and sat in my section. We both laughed that I had tricked him twice and he asked me out. "You can't say no in front of all of my friends," he said. So I acquiesced and agreed to a date. Just before our date, he asked me what kind of food I liked. "Chicken Nuggets" I replied, messing with him. He took me to a beautiful rooftop restaurant in NYC, but for the first course, he brought out a box of chicken McNuggets :)"
