THE ELYSIUM STORY:

Eight years ago, Alex and Julie set out to create the best wedding cinematography studio in the world because let's face it... a wedding day is one of the (if not THE) most important day in a couple's life and there should be no distinction between a video that truly documents a wedding day and an entertaining and cinematic film that the couple can enjoy for years to come.

Well we've come a long way since then, and still have much more to achieve but we've done pretty good so far! Together with our ultra talented team we have won over 15 industry awards and have swept the category that our couples care about most... "Entire Production".

Elysium has also been named one of the "Top 25 Most Influential Videography studios in the World" by our main industry magazine, Event DV and is honored to be referred by the best Wedding Coordinators, Venues, Photographers, and other wedding vendors in Orange County and beyond.

Besides our definitive cinematic style, we are known for being perfectionists. Audio is half of your video so we provide the best possible recording of your day from as many sources as possible. We use the most state-of-the-art equipment possible - sometimes even better than independent filmmakers. We edit using the same software as big Hollywood movies and we care about investing time and money into our studio in order consistently improve our productions. We are constantly taking courses and attending workshops given by the best in the broadcasting world, and were one of the first studios to adopt High Definition way back in 2005.

However, all of what we do comes down to this... we are down to earth, nice people who are passionate about your wedding and our profession. We are un-obtrusive and work with all the other vendors you hire as a team. At the end of the day, we are there to record YOUR wedding and produce the best possible video that reflects your day and your personalities!
